Saturday, 16th January 2010: Russian Roots - Orchestral Study Day. The Cobweb Orchestra is a friendly and welcoming community orchestra which exists so that people can enjoy playing music together. It is open to anyone who wants to come along and join in, whether they have just started learning an instrument, have been playing for years, or haven't played for years.
Cobwebs events have:
New Earswick Methodist Church Hall, YO32 4AQ. Click here for a map. It's on the junction between Haxby Road and Lime Tree Ave. The hall is attached to the back of the church itself. There is ample parking on Lime Tree Ave and on the area in front of the shopping parade. You're welcome to just pop along for an evening and join in, or if you'd would like to know more about the Cobweb Orchestra in York please contact me.
We will be starting back for the Summer Term on Thursday 22nd April. Please contact Liz Carlile on (01642) 873 973 or by email: liz.carlile@ntlworld.com
